School of Fine Arts
Previous School of Fine Arts majors wishing to be readmitted to the School of Fine Arts:
- If you are seeking readmission to the same major within the SFA, there is no requirement for resubmission of portfolio, audition, essay, or interview; however, due to space constraints and other restrictions, readmission to the major is neither automatic nor guaranteed.
Students from other schools/colleges wishing to be admitted to the School of Fine Arts:
- The School of Fine Arts does not allow for direct admittance to SFA majors for students not previously enrolled in SFA majors.
- All SFA majors require either a portfolio review, audition, essay, and/or interview for acceptance.
- Students not previously enrolled in the School of Fine Arts should apply for readmission as an ACES student or in another (non-SFA) area of academic interest.
- Once readmitted to UConn, prospective SFA students can apply for consideration to the SFA major of interest.
- Note: Music, acting, and puppetry offer very limited annual audition offerings.
